Calling all volunteers!
Richmond 2015 will again host its FREE bike valet service at the Redskins Training Camp and we need volunteers to help make it a success!
Valet volunteers are responsible for greeting cyclists, giving them a bike valet ticket, parking and retrieving their bikes. The bike valet service works just like a car valet, providing a safe, convenient parking option while also decreasing the amount of carbon and congestion.
The bike valet will be located right outside the training camp facility at the corner of DMV and Leigh Streets. The valet set-up is directly in the path of travel of the thousands of visitors who will come to see the Redskins prepare for their season, giving Richmond 2015 the opportunity to educate those passing by about the World Cycling Championships taking place in 2015.
Volunteer shift times will vary based on scheduled practice times designated by the Redskins. To register to be a bike valet volunteer at the Redskins Training Camp click here to sign-up for a shift or two.
We are still actively recruiting for the UCI Road World Cycling Championships taking place September 19th – 27th, 2015! If you want to be on the front line of history when it races through the Richmond region, click here to sign-up.
