Collegiate Nationals Traffic Impact Detail

The 2014 USA Cycling Collegiate Road Nationals will be held in Richmond, Va. on Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4 and will serve as the official test event for the 2015 UCI Road World Championships. The collegiate event expects to attract more than 400 men and women cyclists from more than 100 colleges and universities.

These athletes will be competing in four different main events: Team and Individual Time Trial, Criterium and the Road Race. Additionally, this premiere collegiate athletic event will allow cyclists an exclusive look at the time trial and the road race courses ahead of the World Championships in 2015. While much smaller in scope, the event offers the opportunity to test some of the same infrastructure that will be used for the UCI event in 2015

A detailed traffic mitigation plan has been developed for the event, including details about road closures and timing of events across Richmond. You can view details of this plan here.

Also available are maps detailing the plan for each day of competition. Click for Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Please review the traffic mitigation plan and the maps for each day,  if you still have additional questions please email our team at info@Richmond2015.com.
